Practical about the position

At Idrættens Hus Hotel & Konference in Brøndby, we are looking for a sous chef responsible for canteen and conference lunches. You will also be jointly responsible for the daily operation and development of the canteen in collaboration with the head chef and another sous chef. You will help maintain the canteen's good economy and ensure that the canteen delivers satisfactory results in relation to Kokkenes Køkken's concept. Kokkenes Køkken's concept and contract with the customer.

You must be a morning person as we start at 07:00 am - in return, you are free at 14:54 pm, plus evening shifts every 4th week from 13:00 to 21:00 and breakfast shifts every 14th weekend. You will be part of a team of professional kitchen staff and a strong and supportive team of skilled colleagues. At Idrættens Hus Hotel & Konference, we value high ceilings in more than one sense, we value difference and diversity both professionally and personally.

As sous chef, you are a central part of the canteen's daily operations and serving, where you will be 9 colleagues serving approx. 250 happy guests daily. In addition, we serve the hotel's conference department, breakfast for hotel guests and events in Brøndby Hallen. Currently, we are actively working on upgrading our vegetarian side kitchen.

Who are you and what can you contribute?

We are looking for a committed employee who has industry experience from a similar position in canteen and/or restaurant operations. It is important that you have a Danish professional education and take pride in your craft.
