Your Rights

Introduction

When we process your personal data, you have a number of rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. Here you can read about your rights and how to exercise them.

If you would like to submit a request, please see the section "How to Exercise Your Rights" below.

Your Rights Under the General Data Protection Regulation

You have the following rights with respect to Idrættens Hus, Hotel & Konference P/S, which is the data controller responsible for the processing of your personal information.

Right of Access

You have the right to receive a copy of the personal information we process about you and to find out how we use it.

Right to Correction

You have the right to have personal information that is incorrect or incomplete corrected.

Right to erasure

In certain cases, you have the right to have your personal data erased, for example, if it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, if you withdraw your consent and there is no other legal basis for the processing, or if the data has been processed unlawfully.

This right is not absolute. We may be required to retain certain information to comply with the law—such as the Accounting Act—or to establish, assert, or defend a legal claim.

Right to Restriction of Processing

In certain cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted, for example, while we investigate whether information you have contested is accurate, or while we process an objection you have filed.

When processing is restricted, we may continue to store the information, but we may only use it for other purposes with your consent or in cases permitted by law.

Right to Data Portability

If we process your information based on your consent or a contract with you, and the processing is automated, you have the right to receive your information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You may also ask us to transfer it to another data controller, where technically feasible.

Right to Object

You have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. In that case, we will stop the processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

You always have the right to object to our use of your information for direct marketing. If you do so, we will immediately stop using it for that purpose.

Right to Withdraw Consent

When we process your information based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing that took place before you withdrew your consent. You can withdraw your consent to cookies under "Cookie Settings" at the bottom of the page.

Right to File a Complaint

If you are dissatisfied with the way we process your personal information, you can file a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency at www.datatilsynet.dk.

How to Exercise Your Rights

You can send a request to us at:

Email: rec@ihhk.dk

Enter your name and a clear description of the right you wish to exercise.

To protect your information, we may ask you to verify your identity before we process your request. We will not use the information you provide us for this purpose for any other reason.

We will respond within one month at the latest. If the request is complex or if we receive a large number of requests, the deadline may be extended by up to two months. In that case, we will notify you.

Exercising your rights is free of charge, unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

Changes to this page

We may update this page if there are changes to the law or to our processing of personal information.
